Amir Goren, PhD, is a Post Doctoral Research Associate at the Rudd Center for Food Policy and Obesity at Yale University. Dr. Goren received his PhD in social psychology from Princeton University, where he researched the role of facial and personality trait inferences in election outcomes and interpersonal perception. Currently, Dr. Goren is responsible for the Yale Rudd Center’s research on message framing, the goal of which is the most effective and appropriate framing of messages to the public, government, and industry, with a primary focus on how to encourage better practices in the marketing of food to youth.
