Vishnu Sarda, MBBS, MPH, is a Biostatistician at the Rudd Center for Food Policy and Obesity at Yale University. He works with Dr. Jennifer Harris and the Food Marketing to Youth team to manage and analyze various data focused on food marketing to children. Vishnu graduated from the University of North Texas Health Science Center earning his MPH in Biostatistics. He also holds a Bachelor in Medicine and Bachelor in Surgery (MBBS) degree from MGM's medical college in India. He has served as a physician for Pediatrics in a civil hospital in India. Prior to joining the Rudd Center, he served as a Data Manager and Data Analyst in the NIH-funded 'Cancer Risk in Workers Exposed to Oncogenic Viruses' research studies at the University of North Texas Health Science Center. He has also served as a Database Manager for a 'Chlorhexidine Randomized Controlled Trial' to control MRSA at Dallas County Jail. Vishnu is a Certified SAS Base Programmer with credential for SAS 9. His interests in the field of controlling obesity in children and obstruction of possible aftermaths of obesity helped him find his way to the Rudd Center.
